Picco P2, RB323, sirio .23, Picco P3...I think Wasp/Orion made one as well.....there are also some .15 BB engines out as well...they are a true BB mount from what I've seen....must be a high RPM engine w/ a really short stroke.......

Obviously its the engine size.. duh. For dropping in a BB into a 1/10th that originally had a sb.. duh= BB conversion!

If you look into car engines or any other style... they dont call it a BB or SB pending on its borexstroke... you can't just drop a bb into an originally SB vehicle w/o getting different engine mounts first... this goes for REAL cars AND rc.

If the engine mounts are the same as a .12... SB. If the engine mounts bolt up like a .21, BB. Now, you can have a .15 with the mounts of a BB, its still a BIG BLOCK! Some of the past engine companies had that to sell, I think CEN still does.

I think there was already a thread arguing about that.....

Plaid, people tried to define the 2.5 before, but i think traxxas came in and just said its just a "long stroke" .15, left it at that, banned me from the forums for stating the engine's carb was garbage (traxxas forums) and eventually closed the thread.

so you piss vineger here?!?!?!?
:jk: that sucks they wouldn't let negative words about their product be posted.....why even have an "Open" forum?????
By technical definition I hear it is a BB but like you said most people use the case size method anyway....you find the term mid-block funny....just to clarify the 2.5 is not what we were saying was a mid block....the other after market engines w/ larger volume were.......like I said, Difernt strokes fer difernt fokes
