After sitting on purchased parts for months on end I got off my ass and assembled something.

I think it came out pretty good so this essentially a brag post... what can I say?

The stock battery box, receiver box and receiver came out. JR XS3 receiver and hump pack went in with other wiring accessories. Did a little servo switcheroo at the same time. Moved an HS-645mg from steering to T/B. Put a new HS-5645mg in the steering.

Recognize your old tray, HB? I put some taller posts on it.

A cheesy sheet metal bracket anchors the charge receptacle. The face of that receptacle and the backing plate cover up one ugly hole.

Nice work, and I do get seing my Maxx all over the place on other people's vehicles. My Maxx lives on, and on, and on. Very, Very clean setup. I will have to send you my MTX-3 to clean up my wiring mess!!!!

Very nice work on the cable management. I would be a little nervous about having my receiver out in the open.

I was too Mcvickj but once I ran it it never would hit there, the shocktowers and engine head hit way before anything else would. Believe it or not it worked real well. My only worries would be if he muds his truck. Say goodbye to the RX.

Nice work! And those have to be some of the beefiest Shock Towers I've ever seen. DAAAMMMNNNNN!!!!

Thanks guys.

I thought about the water-proofing stuff. I'm tryin' to figure out something to cover the receiver to the top of the tray at least. Won't be waterproof but at least moisture resistant.

One of my daughter's friends left a bag of those tiny rubber bands that the dentist gives you for braces about two years ago. I found 'em in the couch about a year later and hung on to 'em. They're pretty much perfect for wire bundling. I recommend 'em highly. A pair of hemostats is also perfect for gettin' those tiny rubber bands around wire bundles.

Keepin' the pimp hand strong and the wiring hand steady.

if you could find clear latex gloves it would prolly be perfect for just putting it over the tower
