Whats a low low price? I have a soft spot for TMaxxes. Depending on the price depends on how good a deal you got. Watch with the big block though, you'll eat up your drive line if not careful. With some careful upgrades you could have a nice setup.

That is a very good deal, even if you have to put a couple bucks in to it.

But I would not even bother with a roto start, just put a pull start on it and be done with it.

I would stiffen up the driveline with dogbones, do the foward only conversion if not already done, anything RPM makes, install it.

it already has foward conversion on it , actually hold on i will get the specs on it and see what you think.

(1) RTR Big Block 4.1 HPI .25 T Maxx monster truck. I started this truck last year, but now I am going to gas boats so I have a lot of T maxx (trucks & parts) 4Tecs(RTRT's & parts) and other stuff that has to go and will be listed as soon as I get a chance.

This Maxx here has been upgraded with brand new .25 HPI with only 1/2 tank of fuel run thru it. I started to break it in and decided I needed a stronger steering servo for the monster tires, took it into shop did after run clean-up and never got back around to changing servo. Too many other projects going on. But this will sure be a monster when broke in is completed.

Ok here is rundown of parts on this truck:

~1/2 tank new HPI .25 with Roto-start backplate.

~New Hot Bodies Jump Start starter(I think it has a loose wire inside because sometimes it needs a little jiggle to work, should have taken it back to store for replacement, just didn't have time and then I lost the receipt)

~XTM racing aluminum pipe

~Forward only tranny

~Steel Robinson Racing spur hub&gear

(with extra brand new in package 72 tooth replacement gear retail $18.50)

~Extended big block Highly polished chassis(looks like chrome)

~40 series wheels w/ Masher tires

~Steel CVD's on rear wheels only to withstand the power.

~8 std New T maxx stock shocks/springs

~all new fuel lines

~New High flow air filter with washable cover

~Extended Titanium rear skid plate(so standard chassis rails can be used).

~Blue RPM front bumper

~Blazer Sport 2 channel radio & receiver(installed)

~also I would say about 70% of screws in truck have been upgraded to hex head and gotten rid of most of those phillps head screws.

~Used Yellow Hummer H1 pick-up Body (was drilled for std T maxx also so it has 2 sets of holes) But very sturdy body and not those flimsy thin ones) This one will take a beating and protect your truck.
