What doesn't work for some reason? The wheel doesn't turn the motor, the motor doesn't start, what?

the rubber wheel doesn't reac the flywheel, so the rubber wheel keeps spinning without actually starting the car.

i read somwhere that you're not supposed to put lock-tite on the screws for the engine head. is this true?? when i took my head off and put it back on i put blue lock-tite on each of the screws!!

I don't know... I have never put locktite on it... it can run off into the combustion chamber and get it all nasty, I don't think that it would really cause that much of a problem though as long as you didn't goop it on real tight... there is no reason to locktite it anyway though. Adjust the stops and wheel on the starter again then, a starter box is a starter box.

YOU DID WHAT? PUT LOCK TIGHT ON THE HEAD SCREWS!!!! MAN THATS YOUR PROBLEM RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!!! MIGHT AS WELL TRASH THE WHOLE BUGGY.

No man just playing. I think I have read about not putting it on the back plates and other engine parts, so I dont use it, I just make sure they are real tight.

About the starter box, put you buggy on it, stand back and look at it, then push down as if you were going to start it, and see what is the prob. it has to be something simple, something is hanging up some where or making the buggy stay up. How tall are the plastic pegs on the starter box. where exactly do you have the pegs positioned in relation to the buggy.

ok, good to know i haven't screwed anything up (i think). i'm not sure exactly how to adjust the starter box. i think i need to move the motor up inside the box.

:hammer: use a hammer it will fix anything.

did you buy the box put together.

i feel like a total dumbshit. both of the problems i was having were 2 of the dumbest things i've ever done. the reason the flywheel wasn't hitting the rubber wheel in the startbox was because i wasn't pushing down hard enough on the buggy, and the reason the engine ran lean all the time was because my fuel line was kinked in a spot.

damn, i'm a complete moron lol

I often feel like a moron while trying to run my nitros. Here is an example: right now I have a savage and a RS4 3 and they both have different radios. So i went to run the savage and the radio wasn't working so I went and took the batteries out (if u have a savage you would know how hard that is) only to get soo pissed of I threw the savage at the wall, luckily that thing is as durable as a tank. My problem: I was using the WRONG FRIGGIN' RADIO!

Anyways, at least you got everything running :)

That's some funny poop... I haven't had quite that much of a brain fart yet, but give me time... I'm sure it will happen sooner rather than later! Goad you are working a bit better now.

another brainfart of mine was while trying to start a friends gt we both forgot to put fuel in the tank. we were going insane wondering why the friggen thing wouldn't start lol.

Forggeting to put fuel in the tank....thats a good one. I don't think I have ever had that big of a brainfart but I have had quite a few. I have been known to get pissed off while trying to start my savage because I forgot to prime it...
