Raining again

I have a sorta built set up table . I was going to purchase one of the all in one units, and I still might get one for the track. But I find it helpful when setting up suspension systems to have a nice space with the scale marking printed on the table.
I have this on my workbench and I made a cover to keep it clean.
Then for scale photos I decided to paint it to match. Kinda hide the set up table when not in use. That sorta worked out but I drew the scale before I found the cover piece and it did not cover the scale.

Plus it slides around. Yesterday I decided to router the the top and recess the cover. Now I can redraw the scale.
Now the panel is receded and I can paint a scale drag strip on it.

On the flip side I can paint a nice scale to make sure all the wheels are lined up.

Nice it’s raining here to it stinks

This is the collection of tools I have.
I use the corner weight scale a lot. I don’t want the one with bluetooth. This just works and I use my phone for other stuff.

Rulers, lots of rulers. I use them for wheel base. Make sure both sides are the same. And when changing wheelbase for whatever reason.
And measuring everything.

Protractors are for measuring angles. This is helpful when setting up anti squat or anti dive and building chassis or roll cages.

The hard angle templets are for cage work.

Then camber gauge and chassis height .
I have a number of ways to measure toe.

For caster I usually just measure the steering knuckle angle but I have a digital level to get actual caster swing.

The wheels are good for race cars and drift cars. I need a big set for crawlers.
