i was wondering how to get my front suspension on my ofna ultra lx pro a little tighter up front. everytime i hit a jump or land a jump the front bottoms out. the back aint a problem. the front is screwed al the way out, the top bolt is on the high setting and it has a lower one, the bottom settin is on the right one and there is a setting to the left. where should i set them?

You could go with some stiffer springs or drop in a pre-load spacer or two. That would stiffen the front up and increase the ride height. Other than that a heavier weight oil/silicone in the cylinder can also help.

Are you using bump stops on the shocks? If not, you might want to look into it. Easy mod that can allow for your normal suspension for smooth track racing and give you some protection against bottoming out on those occasions where you choose to get some air.

u see how there are two settings on the top and two on the bottom. well where can i put them to make it stiffer? and there is like a bolt to make the shocks more compressed. well do you think i should change the setting to make them stiffer?

Add some 90wt oil and add a couple of the largest spacers to the springs, all the way around.

EP - you run 90 wt ? Wow. I keep mine in the 30-45 wt range. I do pancake on hard landings but wouldn't the 90 wt be too much for the smaller bumps, wash board parts of the track ?

I do tend to agree with you about the bounce on smaller bumps but overall hitting big jumps smoothly you need a stiff suspension on a buggy.

Add thicker shock oil, put the shock in the lower hole (lay the shock down and it acts stiffer, stand it up and it's softer). Remember the whole leverage thing. Add a stiffer spring

yeah.. the black springs are too soft.. put your shock in the lower hole.. on the shock tower.. i run my car with 60wt oil in the front and 40 in the rear.. with medium springs..

i think the medium spring in Ofna is Blue.. or green.. one of those 2.. i think green is softer than the blue.. also.. the white spring is the ofna hard spring..

Why didn't anyone mension adjusting the threaded shock down?
Won't thicker shock oil just increase the time it take for the shock to return to normal?
