I have fully painted and assembled the front and rear Revo suspension units with the Slayer A-arms, and now I have a problem. Apparently, just like the early Tmaxx, there was a narrow version and then they widened it by 26mm.
Well, my first big HummVee was built with the narrow ones, and everything fits perfectly inside the fenders. The current A-arms on this one are from the Pro Slayer, which I didn't know about. Below is what I SHOULD have and below that are the extended ones that I have. You can see the extensions at the wheel end where the pivot balls screw in.
Since a full set of these run about $50 I guess I'm going to try cutting them down and tapping them out...
...unless someone has a full set they are willing to sell used.
Where I'm at now is either a lot of money or a lot of time and work. I already spent the money on the ones I have.
I was at the hobby shop today and also found out that the Slayer is discontinued.

You don't do ebay? Looks like you can get them for about $5 a corner there. I'd ship you the ones I have, but one is/was busted and I vaguely remember wrapping it with something and expoxying it. Also, I'm not 100% sure I still have them all as I converted my slayer many years ago. I can dig through my stuff, but they were pretty well used.

I looked all over eBay and didn't find anything at that price. I've already cut down one of the rear corners to the proper length and today I'll be going out to pick up the tap to thread them. I also have to shorten the steering links so I'll have to pick up a die or perhaps some threaded rod.
I'm really bummed out about not knowing they extended the width and this has set me back a couple of days. I have a project for someone else on hold right now so this means that I have to put the HummVee on hold and shift gears for a while.

Thanks for the offer Olds, but I'm now cutting and tapping the ones I have already painted.
I also need to shorten the alignment (rear) and steering rods. They are 4mm, but that thread is either .70 or .75.
I can't find that info, so I don't know what fits the ends.
