hi my RC10GT is the subject to twitchy survo's and bad braking response meaning that the throttle sticks wide open and hase no brakes that bad especialy when I'm runnin an rb c12 thathas imense power for is size.

the other problem is that when you turn the wheel it idle's up and take off and one again has no bracks.

what do you think i should do to stop it and keep it stopped.
and is there a cost affective fix. :help: :marshall:

Try some new batteries. Sounds like you need to adjust the brake linkage, instead of the throttle trim.

it has new batteries and i do not touch the throttle trim un less it iddles funny witch is not tipical for that particular truck

uummm.... this was brought up awhile back, it may have something to do with "mixing" of the signals, not sure how to turn it off, but basically when you turn right it not only tells the car to turn right, but it also tells it to give it gas, try looking into this, sorry all i can give you is the problem and not a solution, but this may be a route that you should look into

sounds right. also always adjust the idle on the carbie NOT the radio transmitter, the radio is for adjusting how much brakes the car puts on when you let go of the trigger.

Umm... Yes, and no. You should properly adjust the brake linkage so your servos can be at the neutral postion. The radio adjustments arent meant to fix the problem...

I am running a traxxas tq 3 that i baught off of ebay with out survo's for 15.95 still in its box

do you have anything loose, particlulary metal rubbing against metal? Does it do it with the truck not running? How long has it been doing it? Di it start after you did something to the truck?

well uive cheked every thing that could posibly be loose and it's all tight.
it only does it when the engine is running.
the truck does it after it hasnt been ran for a while.
I havn't done anything to the truck

Any loose metal to metal connection will cause glitching. It could also be your crystals... They are pretty cheap for the TQ3

I can't even use my brakes so when I stripped out my diff gears a little bit ago I just took off the brake stuff. If I try to engage the brake it either dies or twitches real bad. I guess I just gotta use little kids to stop me now :)
