are there any other companys who make super chargers other than rb innovations.if so are there any places that stock them in the uk,as i want my tmaxx rippin:idea:

any help wud b great,thanks

A good pipe and hot fuel will make more power than any SC hooked to a two stroke. There's been a couple of threads on this topic, and the general concensus is that SC's don't work all that great on 2 stroke model engines.

ok good answer but I've seen the RB charger on a tmaxx and it was really makin it scream and i was just wanderin if there are any other manufacturers that made them

Thanks

rb innovations is the only one that I have heard of.

SuperChager on a two stroke glow engine='s LMAO don't waste your money.

Their's been a plehtora of discussion here if you check out the search feature like Error pointed out.

If you want your T-maxx "ripping" then get a good BIG smallblock like the SIrio .18 or spend $500 to get a proper Big Bore conversion with Tranny and drivline upgrades that can handle the power and especially torque of a bigbore. THe member here bigboystoys had a Sirio .18 with Rb Supercharger and like the vast majroity he was less then impressed. Even if you go get a substantial increase in power with a SUperchager and can keep the phucking thing running properly, your looking @ replacing your piston and sleeve ever gallon-gallon&1/2 which is freaking rediculous.

Superchargers are just a gimmick. A Joke. Waste of money. Pointless....Kapiche??? lol... Dont waste your money, there just for looks.

I am going to make one and mass market it, apparently no one cares if it works or not as long as they can say its supercharged so my R&D bill will be nothing lol. Honestly, there is no way for a supercharger or any type of forced induction to work on a hobby engine without a real electric fuel pump, a boost dependant fuel pressure regulator which in turn will require modding the tank to accept a fuel return line for the regulator to function properly and then that is just the beggining. You now have to be able to meter the fuel much more accuratly than a 2 needle carb will ever do. Follow the good advice given to you and buy a pipe and filter or just a better motor. Then you can walk all over the "supercharged" cars for fun.

thanks guys think ill kick that to the curb and not bother i think i will keep my trx2.5 as standard and go with a new pipe i saw a thread on here somewhere about removing a cone somewhere on the muffler(standard muffler) but i can't find a cone of any sort anywhere on mine any insight

Tez, its inside the pipe, you have to take it apart and there is a plastic baffle in there.

well I've looked long and hard at this pipe and i can't find a baffle in there anywhere will it make much of a difference anyway and does any one have a picture

Thanx

yeah I know, but if you end up getting a new tuned pipe, you might find it helpful. You were considering it, right?

Since when is too much information a bad thing on a forum anyway?

yes and thanx it was a usefull bit of info i found it very interesting
but i really want to try this baffle

Cheers :D

Taking the baffle out will increase the power, but it will make it louder. You have to disassemble the pipe, the baffle is inside the pipe. Take it out, reassemble the pipe (without the baffle) and reinstall the pipe.

Try it without the baffle, and see if the 2.5 opens up. If it doesn't then get a decent pipe.

I noticed a huge increase going from the 2.5 pipe to one made for a .18

as youve heard i did have a supercharger, key words here are "i DID have one". man o man my truck looked cool and man was everyone impressed when i told them it was sc but when they asked me to fire that bad boy up i would make excuses like i just cleaned it or something. best bet get rid of the baffle or get a sirio bb pipe, I've driven a t with the bb pipe and the pipe did wonders for the trx 2.5. so have fun dont frie your piston in a gallon trust me youll have more fun running na!!
