Super Tires

Hey guys. I now have a super class (acme) and have realised there seems to be a HUGE lack of decent M/T tires that can crawl.
I am running Moabs on one set of wheels and am thinking the Losi Claws that come on the Aftershock could be ok!
Does anyone have any other thoughts?

I've heard that the Claws are a good tire for crawling . Other than that , the Proline Mashers are supposed to be good .

The Claws on a Aftershock are not the same compound as the 2.2 Claws if you want a great super tire go with the Panther Plowboys.

They have had some very good standings! I always liked Panthers tires, I've run them for years on my 1/8 scale's, They use some very good rubber compounds!

I don't own a crawler, so I don't know squat about them except for what I hear and read & like 'Chip' said, I heard and read that the 2.2 Losi rock crawlers are pretty good. But then again, don't take my advice either...what do I know, go with your gut and do what you want & whatever makes you happy & works best !

Ok next question... Where do I get the Ploughboys?
I went to my trusty Amain cause thats where I get my Panther Meatgrinders from, and they have everything EXCEPT Ploughboys.....
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you try Horizon Hobby or RcSlot, that's where I do most of my business if it isn't at my LHS because always remember to support your local LHS !

A Plowboy is a custom made tire by some guys on rccrawler.com it is one of the best super tires out there period.

Thanks Taz, but supers dont run 2.2's. They run M/T tyres. 2.2's are for the 1/10 scales.

No problem, it was the thought that counted...sorry ! - :\ Then you may wanna try ebay, where I just bought a set of the Cen 7.5" wheels/tires for $51.00+$12.00s/h=$63.00...with a set of 23mm hubs thrown in. -
