Just wondering with Nitro 1/8th scale buggies what servo would be best for the steering, an 8kg or a 13kg ? also what is best for the throttle and brake?

The KO Propo servo's i was looking at where:

PDS-2365ICS Digital Servo 0.08 Trans 8KG 6V All Metal Gears

PDS-2366ICS Digital Servo 0.13 Trans 13KG 6V ALL Metal Gears

Well the most TQ is the way to go,and a good fast servo is usually the best for th/brake,as long as it has enough torque to squeeze the brakes.

PDS-2365ICS Digital Servo 0.08 Trans 8KG 6V All Metal Gears = Throttle brake

PDS-2366ICS Digital Servo 0.13 Trans 13KG 6V ALL Metal Gears = Steering

the ones Ratzo listed are on the same level as the KO servos you're looking at as well and a lil less expensive (not cheaper, less expensive)

everyone has a good brand they find and stick w/ it...I use the JR 8611 for stering and Futaba 9451 for throttle

any of the above listed servos are top of the line and you won't be disapointed w/ any of them...

Good info above.
It boils down to whats available.
Get metal gears
Get all the QT and speed your money can buy.
If you need to sacrifice to stay in budget stick with hight TQ and loose a little speed if needed.
