JeKoh, consider yourself a very lucky kid! Not everyday something like this happens.
Your a very generous person charliejp! 'What goes around comes around'

Quit replying to this please! I'm hoping it just dissapears and everybody forgets me sticking my foot in my mouth.

Just kidding, I shipped it a couple of days ago!

:whhooo:Thats awesome charlie

In case anyone is wanting to get rid of more stuff, I'm also only 14 so I'm to young to work yet. ;)

This is exactly what's wrong with kids these days. Not throwin' down on charliejp, but get off your but and make some money. I was haulin' in $150-200 a week in the summer when I was 11. Dragging the mower behind my bike all over town. And it took all of a couple hours each day. Turn the video games, computer, and Hanna Montana off, and rather than sticking your hands out for freebies, use them to make money. "To young to work" is the lamest, most cry baby excuse I've ever heard. This hasn't taught kids anything but to be charity cases.

I agree. My boys are 10 and 8 and they go to Job sites with me and pick up trash and help clean up construction sites to earn money to afford their RC habit. When they can't do that, they'll work around the house to earn money. They take much better care of the stuff they had to buy on their own. They have an Xbox, playstation, and computer, but usually the video games just get dusty until a rainy day. BTW, they pooled their money to buy the Xbox. Good honest work to earn a buck never hurt anybody of any age.

Amen to that. My kids are getting to that age and i had them buy a few things on there own. and boy do they take care of the stuff ALOT more.

As for you gesture. You are the MAN! You don't see that anymore in people.
I hope there are some people out there that take a page out of your book.
For one it gets someone into the hobby. And also shows that there are some great people left on earth that are not selfish...

i agree that was a great thing to do.

Thanks. Don't get me wrong though. I do help them out here and there. But at least they appreciate the value of a dollar when I do.

Guys, I agree that kids should learn the value of a dollar. I had a feeling that JeKoch and his family were deserving of a little help/hope. I feel that this gesture was the least I could do. I think that we need to remember that not everyones circumstances are the same. JeKoch was very appreciative and several times tried to pay me a little something or at least shipping. I only asked that he remember one day when he's in the position to do the same. That's a lesson that kid will hopefully never forget.
