I have a set of MIP diffs for the 1/18 scale but one is too tight and i can't get it appart. The "socket" that comes with is not working and i don't have tools small enough to fit inside the outdrive. All i really want is the drive gear off to put on another diff, anyone have an idea of what tools might work here or a solution that does not require a blowtorch?:\

A good set of hex wrenches is a good idea. You can also try to put the diff in a vice and apply some downward pressure on the wrench in the socket. The MIP Super Diff has a very heavy spring that needs a little extra effort and makes it difficult to remove the hex bolt.

Thanks, Hamz! I have looked for a set of HEX drives at home depot and lowes but nothing small enough. Are there quality tool sets made for small scale work and if so do you know where to get 'em?
