i was gona put a lrp z.28r in my savage but on ebay i saw a sts 30 and was wondering how good of a engine they are.

I doubt they are as good as the lrp. I don't have personal knowledge of it, but I've heard all good things about the lrp.

the sts are harder then heck to find any info on they are an offbrand engine manufactured in korea go with the lrp it will not let you down

I can't answer the rpm's question with conviction, but a general rule of thumb is the bigger the mill, the lower the revs. They generally rely on torque....
The LRP revs pretty hard and pulls excellent power, and they are reliable mills too. I do like trying different things but STS is really unproven.
I'd go with the LRP.

I have the GRP tuned .28. I posted pics of it in its factory case because I've never seen a product so beautifully packaged.
It does go VERY hard and produces bucketloads of power, and I knew it revved high but when I read 43000 it blew my mind.
Need to be gettin' me more o' them thar engines.
