i got tired of my savage being a gayish purple color (no offence to anyone *** or purple on this forum.) so i decided to strip it.. i had heard about oven cleaner this and greased lightning that.. i have personly tried the oven cleaner and didnt like the results.. so i tried to greased lighting.. got it at the DOLLAR GENERAL!! for 3 bux.. big ol half gallon bottle.. works great!! only took about 2 hours to strip 4 wheels.. didnt even have to take the tires off!! got them shiney.. hit them with a rub of neverdull and slapped um back on!! heres some pics for ya..

I'm going with a black and silver (or gray) color scheam with all my rc's so that is what I'm gunning for.. i liked the results so much I'm going the head now.. (lol) just a tip.. a coke can cut in half holds a engine head nicely and you dont have to use a bunch of extra cleaner to fill up around it..
so here ya go guys.. picture proof as to which method works when deanodizing aluminum ..
