I was running my Picco P2 equipped tmaxx today, and after a small crash I noticed a funny sound and a complete lack of power. Pulled it over and found that turning my flywheel didn't turn the engine over....

So I pulled it apart and it looks like the flywheel is stripped out where it sits against the collett. Anybody know how this could happen?

I have an integy 3shoe clutch for it also but it wont allow the flywheel to sit far enough on the crankshaft for me to get the washer and eclip on. Same problem on my 3.3 also. I guess thats another thread....

my buddy had that problem on his aftershock, found out the flywheel nut was comein loose on his, could this be the problem on yours?

Is the end of your crank shaft threaded? If so, just put a couple more shims on and put a bolt with a washer on it in the end of the crank. This is a better way to go anyway.

You may be able to tighten the flywheel nut down and get the flywheel to hook up. I'd suggest taking it off, taking the collet off the crank, clean it all with DA really well to remove any oil residue, then put it back together and cinch down the flywheel nut really well.

Thanks for the tips...I'm gonna go ahead and pick up a new flywheel tommorrow and give it a shot. I probably didn't have the nut tight enough....
