Stripped Engine Screw

Anybody know how to extract a stripped screw (engine mount). The Allen screws that come stock on the RC10 are very malleable. I plan on replacing all w/stainless. I need to adjust gear mesh and can’t move engine. Any old tricks will help.

Visegrips or an ez-out.

EP, hit it right. Sone needle-nose visegrips work like a champ. After you take the stripped screw out make sure you throw it away & don't re-use it.

I used a dremmell with a cutting wheel- made a notch that my flat head screw driver fit in- took it out and chucked it in the round parts bin.

yes that whole dremal thing is a good idea, i have never tryed it, but have played with a dremal and drilled holes in things like for bumbers and making paper cups explode... but yes try vise grips the dremal

Yea use the dremel easies thing you can do.

yep . dremel is the way to go , just cut a slice into it so you can put a flathead screwdriver in there and screw it out
