two words Renter's Insurance, and for you cool guys Home owner's Insurance! I pay 180 a year and it covers 25k of my valuables as well as gives me 100k in bite damage for my pitbulls. A SMALL price to pay as that would have covered that truck. Make sure to get a plan with a LOW DEDUCTABLE as some come with a $500 deductable which would not have helped in this case!
