i had not been isopr. alch. for cleaning purposes but i was wondering what denatured alch. was. thanks for the info and i'll give it a try, up till now i was just air blowing and elbow grease witch usesaly meant stripping it down. damm, must be tired - can't spell. good night all

i've heard lots of people complain about the blue wire on the ez-start...if it were me i would disconect the blue wire and use a plug igniter

That was the problem I had with my rustler. IMO the easy start "blue" wire is junk. Always go with an igniter. Havent had a problem since.
