Hi guys,I,m new to this game..just bought a new EB4 Thunder tiger pro 21. I've started to run in(1 tank) engine stuck..wouldnt turn over. Took back to shop, owner turned flywheel with screwdriver to free up. Started to run -in again, but motor keeps sticking? Have to keep turning motor over with screw driver to start. On 3rd tank now. Is this normal? Thanks

You need to get a heat gun and heat the engine up to 200 degrees F then crank it. Whats happening is you have a very tight pinch and you need to heat it up to loosen the pinch before you try to start it. It is normal and it will loosen up after about 8/9 tanks. Make sure you set the piston at BDC (bottom dead center) after you run it and it's cooling down thats prob a lot of your prob is your not putting the piston at bdc and it's getting stuck at tdc (top dead center) while cooling off. Roll the fly wheel while hot and you will hear a pop after the pop thats tdc roll it about another half turn that will put your piston at bdc.

+2 on preheating and BDC especially if packing up for a while and dont forget to after run oil or WD-40 to prevent internal corroision.

Is there any other fuel for these things?? Nitro is so bloody expensive!!

Yes nitro is expensive, and our engines can be a little temperamental at times. But they sound, look and smell Great. So at the end of the day its well worth it IMHO.
