i am building a revo 5309 and I can't decide if i will go with a dual steering or just a single steering servo...Hmmmmmm:(

my other option is to install dual steering servo( 330oz. each) but it might be a overkill:D...Hmmmmmmmm

Overkill for sure with that much tq, even one 330lb tq for crawlers is good

I personally wouldnt say thats overkill at all. The more power the better. 300 oz servo's are in the middle of the high torque servo world now days anyways. 500oz might be over kill but if you can afford a nice steering servo, Id say definatly upgrade it.

I have a 2075 and a 2070 for steering. Now I did that because I noticed that the single 2070 wasn't turning all the way one way. With the second servo, it made the strering faster and made it turn completely both directions

I use a single hitec 985MG and it has 172oz. It can overpower the heavy duty servo saver spring as it is. So, anything more than 172oz will just be wasted power.

I used a Single HiTec HS-5645 on my Revo for steering with no problems.
