Hey all got another question for you all, I shreded my stock 2070 steering servo last week, then I stopped by my LHS and picked up a Hobbico CS-70 and it works great. Unfortunately though i spun my stock steering horn and managed to strip the teeth. I am using one that came with the servo for now it should hold hopefully:\. My question is that i would like to upgrade to aluminum and begin the task of bulletproofing my steering so this doesn't happen again. I searched and the best poll of info i could find would be the Pro-line kit. Well i checked out their website and don't see it listed anymore. I also looked at ebay and only found used setups. Anyone else got another front end kit that would help? Thanks

The proline kits are great but they are hard to find since they don't seem to be producing them any more, I am not positive but I think the latest versions of the T Maxx have a built in servo saver set up, you might look into that. I just took a look at the steering set up on the new 3.3 and it has a servo saver built into the steering linkage, here is a link http://www.traxxas.com/PDF-Library/4908_chassis.pdf hope this helps.

Here is the set up or at least part of it http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTKN2&P=Z

Thanks for the reply i have a 3.3 4908 with the servo saver on it, with the new steeing servo the saver doesn't rotate on the "U" like it used to with the digi 2070? I read some where that with higher torque servos that the saver is not required. Is that correct? Anyway i would like to at least get an aluminum steering horn so i don't shread the teeth again like i did on the stock plastic horn. Where could i find one of those.
