So before I took the truck out today I turned it on to do a check. Checked the throttle and it was perfect, then the steering and not so good turned the wheels to the right it was fine then when I tried the left thats where the not so good in. Well when I turn the wheels to the left theres a grinding noise I let it go back to striaght and it seems like its still trying to move no real grinding noise at that point our when its striaght it just kinding hums lightly its never done this before. When I turn it back to the right the humming stops completly, it only does this when I turn it to the left. Anyways it ruined my day, but what I was wondering is the servo gone our can this be fixed with settings on the transmitter . Its a Losi limited edition aftershock with the stock transmitter.

sounds like you have a bad spot on the gears in your servo. you can usually buy replacement gears just be careful removing the old ones so you no how the new ones go back in. you probablly be alright for a while if you just turned right but sooner or later those broken pieces are going to shred the rest of your gears

Try checking the servo horn before replacing the servo first, I recently had the same problem on my revo. I replaced the servo only to have the same problem. It ended up being the servo horn was worn.

Thing is I've only drove this truck for 2 tanks of break in exactly how the manual told me too. I was going out to get a tune that time. I don't think I'll be buying losi again, first the pull start broke (my fault) then fixed it I thought but it wasn't turning the one way bearing. Installed the new one it was fixed but I but a roto start much easier worked perfect for those two tanks got dark I live in a rural not much in street light except the walmart parking lot being a noob I didn't want to risk using it there cause it was still open. Then the battery died wouldn't take a charge had to wait to get one hobby shops an hour away, finally got one and now this. I just want to play damnit.

Anyone got any suggestions for a good servo for a decent price that will drop right in here. Anything under a $80.

I got the HS-5645M for under 50 bucks its an all metal gear high torque servo.
