Well, i endo'ed the XTM tonight before i could pass the TX over to my boys (bummer!)

Anyhow the steering servo stripped. I took some pictures of the current setup

I was wondering If any of you could reccomend any thing so this won't be so likely to happen again. I have 3 extra decent servos, I'm just wondering if there is a common mod to change this tyep of steering. What are servo savers, and how would one go in?

Anyone have any pics of their setup they would like to share?

On with the pics

I use the JR 590M servo on my xxx-nt. It has a built in servo saver though.

But i'd suggest running a steel geared servo if you haven't yet.

I use the hitec 645mg on my t-maxx, but it has pro-lines steering system which also has a built in saver.

I'd have to guess that going with steel gears would prolong life in your case though.

This servo save goes directly onto the servo in place of the servo arm. I'm not really familiar with your ride, but if you have the room, it should work... You have a sort of built in saver on your truck. That silver thumb screw next to you steering linkage can be loosened to take some of the abuse away from the servo..

The copper wire goes from one body clip to the other so I don;t loose them.
