hey guys its been a while since I've been on, the emaxx is bein good to me! but it has one problem, the steering is not very powerful occasionally it doesn't like to turn the wheels to the right (if your looking at it like your driving the car) its weird cause my single servo tmaxx has much stronger steering. I've checked my pivot balls and loosened them up, thoroughly went through all of the steering components and everything seems fine. my last guess would be the servos but they seem to be fine. any ideas guys? thanks

yeah, it works like its supposed to, in fact i think it does a little too much. is there a way to tighten it?

I would also install a better servo if you are running the stock one, The Hobbico CS170 has 333oz of torque and works great in a Emaxx, You can find them on Tower Hobbies, I have the Hitec version of it and was using it in my Emaxx and loved it, Also if you can find a Proline steering conversion for it that will help too, it has the servo saver built into the steering set up, has bearings and basically no slop, and it is also adjustable.

Great info. Dual steering servos inevitably fight with each other, causing premature wear and failure. Switching to the single servo mentioned above, along with the Proline conversion would make a huge difference.

Not crappy, just forgiving.:) My buddy bought his 4908 new, and it came with a light and heavy servo saver spring. One for plastic gears, one for metal gears is the way I took it. The heavy spring fixes the problem if your servos are good. Do you have a rechargeable rx pack or the 4 aa holder?

Forgot we're talkin' bout a E Maxx.:) You know, that heavier spring may have come in a Proline steering conversion kit. But yeah, you can get heavier springs for the saver.
