All I have been hearing is how great this buggy is for the price of $400 dollars for the roller kit which I purchased. I have had it roughly 2 months and it has been pretty good except for a few major issues.
The 1st being the ball bearings they give you are total trash and I promise they will eventually blow out on you. I went on Amazon & ordered Uxcell sealed bearings for about $40 bucks. Much smother and definitely a noticeable upgrade.
The second, OIL !!! RLAARLO Shock Oil & Diff oil looks like some nasty grey sludge. I break cleaned the piss out of the diffs which, barely had any diff oil whatsoever and refilled them with clear Yokomo & associated diff oil. 6500 front. 5000 center. 3000 rear. The shocks were also half full of the same looking sludge so I went a head and replaced them with Losi 50wt that has the nice red tint.
The third being, they use little too no lock tight on these cars. I highly recommend you get a bottle of locktite & go over grub screws, & anything else that would come loose. I also did loose the inner steering bushings due to shotty quality control. (No lock nuts)
If anyone has any other recommendation's or issues with the DSK hit me up.
