just replaced the steering servo on my tmaxx, with it off the ground when I turn the wheels both directions it hardly moves.

put in brand new batteries, linkage is not to tight but it is a brand new stock steering servo but still should turn properly.

Disconnect the servo arm and see if the wheels will move freely from side to side. Move the servo with the radio to see if it moves fully from side to side. If both of those check out okay, something is binding when they are connected. Make sure the servo is properly seated, make sure the control horn is the correct one for that brand servo and also seats fully.
If it's a computer radio, you might want to try adjusting the end points.
