Steel Spur and bushing

Got tired of going through Spurs so I went out and bought the Robinson Spur and CB set.

I'm trying to put the bushing into the spur and it wont fit.

It goes in a little then stops. If I put another bushing on top and force the lower one in it goes, BUT, then the spur wont fit on the shaft!

What do I have to do?

Do you have a savage X??

Thought the robinson spur wasn't for the X yet , but could be wrong.

any sav spur can be used on either an x or std sav as long as you have the right slipper plate? (can't remember if thats what its called) because the shaft it locates on is the same for std and X

hope u have all metal gears in the tranny I used to go through spur gears like crazy found out that my clutch shoes were worn and were heating up the clutch bell solved the problem
