Does anyone know which starter box would work on the DuraTrax Street Force GP's Stock Velocity .15 Engine.

any box will work. Just mae sure it will work for a 1/10 car. Boxes made strictly for 1/8 cars are too wide and will never allow the flywheel to contact the starter wheel.

Well the flywheel for sfgp doesn't stick out that much so I'm not sure that the starter box will work

The flywhel isn't suposed to stick out of the chassis. THe stater wheel will reach into the opening and turn the engine. Doesn't take much to start. I am not too familiar with duratrax but for your car, check to see if there are ugrades or parts to convert it to a "nonpull". Basically new motor mounts and flywheel.

Otherwise, it should be fine. I have taken an r/c car that was made for a pull star and started it fine on a starter box with no problems.

so it doesn't matter if the pull start is still on the engine. itll still work with a starter box

Yeah, it sould be no problem at all. Only thing important is to get the flywheel in correct alignment with the rubber wheel.

A lot of guys leave off the alignment guides, but I put mine on. It'll save you a lot of greif later on. A little bit of frustration in the beginning to line up the tabs will save you a lot of frustration trying to start her in the future.

I run 2 different cars with 2 different starterboxes when I race or bash. More to lug around and pack up but less time trying to start. Especially when someone who is not familiar with your car and box is pitting for you in a race.

but can some starter boxes rubber wheels be adjusted so it can be higher or lower. if you know of any good starter boxes give me some links if you can.

Ofna multi-start box. It's the pink one. Single high torque motor and more than enough power to start even a big block engine.
click on the picture to see it on the OFNA site.

No. Get the silver one with the 770 motor. It's better. It's for 1/10th and 1/8th scale. The wheel can be adjusted to any car.

nitrohouse.com has it cheaper than tower though.

I use the pink one. Used it for both the serpent710 and my NTC3. Difference between the one Team pointed out and the one I pointed out is that there is no belt to wear out on the pink one. The wheel is directly connected to the high torque motor; silver one is rtr, no assembly; silver has adjustable wheel.

It has to have an adjustable wheel because the car can only be mounted one direction. The way the Pink one I suggested is adjusted to the wheel position is by reversing polarity of the motor so it spins the other way, flop the car in the other direction and start. A little more work intensive but no belts to slip.

Either one is fine, it's up to you.

Pink one sucks and it's for girls! lol

Make sure u look at both descriptions and see which one will suit u better.

well both look pretty good even the pink one team17. and are you able to move the wheels up and down (higher or lower)

no. The wheel is high enough to reach the flywheel. You shouldn't have a problem.

and does the silver one have a rechargeable if so does it come with a recharger.

rechargeable battery

No it doesn't. You can use 2 cell packs or a gel cell.

you sure because on towerhobbies it doesn't say that you need batteries or anything else. it says its a rtr.

check lower on the page to see if there's a list of anything else needed for the box. They'll tell you if you need a battery or not.
