starter box question

hey guys i was wondering if any of you guys have tried to use a 1/10 duratrax starter box for an 1/8 scale? the reason i ask is cause i have a rc10gt and a gs storm and i wanted to have one starter box for both. i know that the wheel on the box spins vertical for the gt and horizontal for the storm. so is that possible? buy setting the box up for the storm and maybe just setting the gt sideways on the box. i know thats kinda ghetto but hey whatever saves me money.

Why not get a 1/8th and use it for both?

It can be done. It all depends on your budget. If you can afford to get a new box go for it. If not the one you have should work. Hopefully it has enuff umfph to turn over a big block.
