So not really an extensive "build" but it sure works a lot better for me now.
As delivered RTR Fiesta, no matter how much preload, the body dragged when cornering on pavement. Difficult to just trim it up due to the "clipless" design.
So first to go was the Fiesta body and entire clipless mounting system.
Not super happy with the tires on pavement so tried several and ended up with wheels and Hoons tires (with aluminum hex adapters) from a 1/7 ARRMA Infraction. Work great.
Have a few aluminum parts to replace plastic (well aware of pros and cons in that regard).
Working really well now, tons of fun.
