So as some as you know I am laid up with an injured foot. In the meantime, I am also working on a new 1/24 crawler build.

So, between the upgrades I have done to my other RTR crawlers and the tools I had started to accumulate for doing the build, and since I have the time, I figured it was time to get organized.

Last Christmas I bought the mini Kobalt tool box on black Friday for less than $20 - https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-Mini-10-83-in-Friction-2-Drawer-Blue-Steel-Tool-Box/5014017035
Grabbed the blue mat off of Amazon, just a generic brand - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CLDJ333H?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

In the top drawer, I have my decals and bigger spare parts

Big tools in the bottom
For tools I have -
Needle nose pliers from Harborfreight - https://www.harborfreight.com/4-34-in-long-nose-pliers-63817.html and https://www.harborfreight.com/4-34-in-bent-long-nose-pliers-63819.html

Tool set from my local hobby shop, says Dynamite RC
Also added a 1.3 hex driver from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ES5MDU?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

And I grabbed this little plastic organizer at Harborfreight - https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-...izers/18-divider-storage-container-94456.html

My shop/hobby room is seriously thrashed. Lack of will pretty much keeps it that way.
I get mine straightened up just so I can mess it back up 😁

I have made a huge mess thru the house as I've taken on a total teardown ane rebuild of Optima Mid. I am putting on a bunch of stuff so their are parts all over the place as things get swapped around.

I am cleaning some now actually. 👍

I started out like this too... now I am surrounded by RC. Organized or messy, its everywhere! 🤣
Thankfully (or regrettably 🤔) my house is too small to really accumulate much more.

Maybe just a 1/10 crawler (and the required parts, tools, etc..) and a 1/10 basher. Maybe.
But honestly I really don't have room for those LOL

I feel like an aircraft hanger might be a more appropriate sized building for my RC addiction! 🤣
I spent too much time looking at RC magazines as a kid... now I want all of them!!! 🤷‍♀️

Funny too because the old RCs still hold my interest over most new RCs today.
😁
I can't imagine what this place would look like with a bunch of crawlers in here too!

Me neither but it didn't stop me! 😱 🤣

R/C and 1:1 stuff all happens in my pole barn.
"Getting organized" occasionally begins with a pickup load to the dump! :p
Can I borrow your pickup? 😅

Sure!
But it'd probably be cheaper to rent a dumpster than feed this thing for a drive to Indiana!
We have two dumpsters outside, but I have a lot of stuff I would like to take to goodwill. Some of my kid's old toys and such. I have a hard time letting it go. I just need to start listing it on 🤮 Facebook marketplace.
