Star Wars EP 2 onsale Today At Toys R US for 9.99 DVD

This is no B.S. saw this in another forum I called and they are selling today for 9.99. At ath price I would call local T R U and verify they have them before makeing a trip its my understanding its today only. X

As big as a DVD collector that I am, I think I'm gonna pass on this one. I havent even seen it yet, after watching EP 1, thats all it tool. EP1 sucked major.

Anyways thanks for the heads up, I always enjoy cheap prices on DVD's

I will pretend I never read what you wrote above. While I do not feel ep1 was great it still was a SW. Now on to EP2 I personally feel it was EXCELLENT it is tied as my Favorite with Empire. Anyway this is coming from a true die hard fan. Here is a little ink work to prove it. Oh almost for got I took add to Circuit City and they price matched it 110% nothin like a 8.98 DVD...X

I felt the same way that WoodiE does about EP1 and how it sucked. One of the major reason I felt this way was because of the fight scenes. They only had like a 8 minute fight scene and that was it.

Now EP2 was much better than EP1. Yoda rocks! That whole fight scene was great. Also the coliseum fight scene was sweet too. The movie did have its week points too like the whole love scene. BAH! I realize they have to kinda show that so the story line progresses but they could have did that differently. They cut that scene out of the IMAX version. Hehehe.

My theory is that Lucas is saving the last of his creative juices for EP3. I guess we will have to wait n see.
