Stampede motor

I am looking to upgrade the motor in my stampede. It is the original stampede not the newer one, will the 3.3 fit? If so is just upgrading it through Traxxas my best option?

The 3.3 is a lot of engine for a pede. You may have to upgrade the drivetrain as well. Metal gears and good driveshafts is all you need to worry about since it's 2wd. After the upgrades, you'll be somewhere around $100 short of buying a new one, so keep that in mind.

Yeah I talked to traxxas and I am just going to give this one to my girlfriend and buy me a 4wd tmaxx 3.3 or a rustler.

If your looking to pick up a new rig to bash with, check out the Savage line. Way tougher than a T Maxx. If you think your going to want to race at some point, check the Revo out. Way tougher than a Maxx and handles great.
