So last weekend, the kids and I were at the skatepark driving the RCs and my daughters 2WD Stampede’s front wheel locked up during a left turn and stuck there. I tried straightening them out by hand and they immediately go back to the left turn. I shut the truck off for awhile and after sitting they were able to be moved again by hand. So I turned the truck on and they immediately went to the left turn and locked up again. They will not move at all via the remote control.. Is this a servo issue?.. I tried looking it up on YouTube but couldn’t find anything like this situation. Thanks.

Sounds like the gears stripped causing the motor not having contact with the gears to turn right again, or motor is dying. If it's the stock blue case 2056 or 2075 servo it's common for them since they are plastic gear servos. Id upgrade to something with aluminum case, metal gears and 20kg minimum.

Ok wait cross all that out. I actually read it this time. Maybe the servo and servo horn/saver isn't centered making it turn left at power up? If so, I'd take the servo horn off the servo. Power up the car. Make sure the steering trim is on the radio is at center or 0 and put the servo horn back on. Another issue with the stock servo savers are that they can skip teeth causing it to turn on power up so.

So I just put a battery in, turned it on, it was working just fine for about 1 minute, was turning fine, going straight fine, then went and locked up and wheels shot left. The receiver box light is flashing like crazy, non stop. I see in the manual 7 should be the max, but it never stops or slows.

The servo teeth look good, don’t look damaged at all, still look new. So there’s gotta be an issue with the serving itself or receiver then?

So I put the servo horn back together, it must* have came out of alignment, idk.. because since I’ve put it back together it has been working fine. I think I need to readjust it because the controller has to be adjusted almost all the way to the left to go straight, but the wheels have not locked up or anything.. I’m gonna take it back out and drive it awhile and see what happens.

What color is the receiver light flashing?
