Hi all,

I have an Ofna 9.5 Pro. It stalls with 1/3 tank of fuel left. I have tried 2 tanks and 2 motors and the same thing happens. The tune on the engines is good, lots of smoke and good temps.

Any idea what my problem could be?

Mike

This is just a guess but maybe your exhaust line is too short and you don't have the required pressure when your tank gets that low.

Check fuel tank(s) for air leaks. Easiest and cleanest way is to take tank out, fill with water and blow into one line while plugging other line. Turn it upside down too. If water comes out anywhere (line or tank), it won't hold pressure. Plus, if you have a filter in the line, make sure it is clean.

I had same stalling problem on Hyper7 PCR with Hyper .21 engine. I took carb, lines and tank out and all apart, then blew out with compressed air. Re-assembled and re-tuned and no more stalling.

If you're running lean, then engine may lean out too much to keep running as tank empties.

Also, make sure it's not an air leak from backplate or carb.

I also think you might be chasing an air leak. As things heat up, things expand, and when things expand they'll leak. I had a similiar problem. Things would run just fine at first (engine is cool), and as things warmed up it would lean itself out and die
(flame out).
