Does anyone make the pushrods in the shocks from SS ? I keep breaking mine. I bought a set of aluminum shocks for my Sav 25 and i've broke all but 2 in 2 weeks. Now i got all stock back on it, but each break was the same , right where threads on rods start. would make sense to me to make some better ones and not sell a $140 set of shocks with same cheap ass rods.

I've heard and read that aluminum bodied savage shocks aren't very good regardless who's you buy. Especially with anything over 30 weight oil.

What I have read is that people that do buy aftermarket aluminum shocks have better luck running stock shock shafts instead of whatever comes in them. At least the guys that have bough HB, GPM or integy shocks.
