Has anybody done this. I was just wondering . it would be nice and wide.
plus it would be lighter them MT tires
 
the wheel hub would be the bitch of that.....
just get teh Panther Cheater tires if you want a cheap truggy conversion
 
never heard of them, could you get a link. will they require any moding of the buggy. will I need special rims.

ST tires...

The HPI Nubz work on a standard buggy - they bold right on to the 17mm hexes and clear the suspension arms for steering
I have a photo of it here
The Nubz are great, just don't use them on asphalt.. they'll wear real quick...
 
Check out the Ofna SST stadium rims and tires, they work well for just bashing, and wont eat clutches AS fast.

I use them on my Ofna Blazer and they rock!
They are a great wheel/tires combo for general buggy bashing and you don't need to do any radical spur/pinion re-gearing either.
