I have a GS-B01 .21 engine, when it gets up to temp it starts to sputter at mid-range. It seems O.K. at the bottom end and at the top end, and only starts to sputter after it gets warmed-up. I tried the easy fixes first, new glow plug, clean filter, new fuel line, made sure the fuel tank was sealed good. After all this I could not take the glow starter off without the engine dying!
If anyone has an idea of what the problem is, please help!

Thanks,
Greg

Might be the plug your using. also sounds a little rich on the high end needle.
Lean it up on the high end, in 1/8 turn incriments.
Good luck, and welcome to RCNT.

I have the same problem with my Omega 21 Comp engine. It's not bad enough that it dies, but it sounds like it's loading up at half throttle. I'm a crappy driver to begin with, I'll be the first to admit it, but when I go from tons of torque to nothing but gagging to snap your head torque again, it makes for some difficult driving. It's really weird. Some days are worse than others. If I do a quick jab to WOT it's fine, but if I'm easing it up to WOT, it coughes and sputters from about 1/2 to 3/4, then it opens up fine...

I hope you figure it out, I'll try whatever anyone comes up with to fix it.

I was running Racers Edge med. plug but switched to McCoy's MC-9 because that is what GS recommends for this engine.
