i have had 5 spur gears on my 3.3 this month, iv disided to get a steel clutch bell and steel spur will this fix the problem??

I went through ALOT of spurs on my tmaxx until I perfected meshing them right, then it basically stopped being a problem.
 
i remember your posting on that, I replied to it on how to go about resolving the issuse.. but, since you went ahead and got the steel gears otherwise.. it might help
 
no it will make it worse keep with the stock traxxas spurs and check you alignement with the motor, and chech your slipper clutch, driving style to prefer not to run them in grass. steel spurs will ruin way more and cost you alot.
 
What's happening to the spurs? Are all the teeth burning off or are you loosing a tooth or two? Got a clear photo of a couple bad spurs?

If you don't get the mesh right, as suggested, the steel ones will wear out as well.

Bad CB bearings, bent trans input shaft, bad mesh in general or a cracked engine mount. Those are things to look for.

mesh is the critical key.
bad mesh =bad spur
bad engine mount = bad mesh and then bad spur
been there on both and it gets very aggervating when you cannot get mesh right...
