andrew awesome statment and that is so true its all i get"you broke it dumbass" wer not asking who broke it, we asking why!! and andrew its tottaly the mesh you're pitch was correct and it has NOTHING to do with the low speed needle just cuz you tuned yourte car so it would run wouldnt make it strip! think about it it doesn't make sense its sumting else that friggin spring i dont no what that does does anyone? the srping with the nout holds on the spur? (it aint the low speed!!:hump: )

My friend's RC10GT had the exact same problem. Turns out it was a bad clutch bell bearing. I've heard they can also strip if your clutch (not slipper clutch but engine clutch) is slipping excessively and heating the clutch bell to the point that it softens the spur gear.

Yes, nitro cars break a lot. Try landing a jump upsidedown and doing 10 cartwheels with your full size car. It would break too. If you treat them nice they don't break as often but they still break. I enjoy working on them although the money for parts bothers me too. Electrics are a little slower and much simpler... therefore they are more reliable. Maybe that's more your style.
