Ok as some of you may know I have a sport maxx, with a stock single speed tranny in it. I aquired a revo tranny a couple of days ago, and its got me thinking. Anyone ever try to drop a revo 2 speed tranny, housing and all, into a first gen t-maxx chassie. Just wondering if the holes will line up. I know of the side affects of the drive train and what not, not to worried about that though. Thanks,

The holes are not the same. If you really want a two speed you could probably trade the single speed tranny for one or sell it for more than the 2 speed would cost.....The single speed tranny is hard to find!

Darn. Single speed is cool, but I was just looking for a use for the spare I now have laying around. Well I guess the spare is a spare. lol. Thanks man.

They have that same thing at my hobby shop for 40 bucks.(Buttheads) But I think I'm just going to keep the single for now. Its just as fast, when me and my buddy raced my revo against it in a drag we were tied till I hit way top end, then i pulled a little. Then he broke it that day, and I bought it for 30 bucks, lol, that reminds me, if I just bought that second speed kit, it would be more then the whole car cost me.
