I've made a decsion I'm gonna go with the sportmaxx traxxas doesn't seem to get dissed to much and i like the looks of it. ill probably up it to a .18 or .21 if this is a bad idea let me know before i buy a peice. I'm a newbie so let me know.

I totally agree with Zandor. It's an excellent site, dedicated TOTALLY to Traxxas products. They also have an interesting point system that you might find rewarding.

Since this is your first truck and it seems like you have the money. I say stick with the 2.5 until you have to replace it. But if you really want to upgrade go with the .18 unless you're ignorant and think you can handle more power. And it's not like you're going to be racing so I don't see why you would need the extra power anyways.
