Hey guys,
my rear diff stripped, so i decided while i was at it, i might as well do the spider mod. So i did it to the rear and put 3000 weight oil in it. Will it matter if i dont do i to the front??? I do plan on doing the front soon, but I've got a race this weekend and dont want to work on it again.

I would think that i would probably only get front wheel drive because the power would want to get out the easiest way. Right?

Thanx!

I think you would still have equal power to all wheels until your front came off the ground. With little resistance to the front your power would be transfered forward.

I could be wrong, I am still learning.

You can leave the front as is for now. The 3000wt in the rear just gave you a little more traction in the rear. It eliminated some of the slip or wheelspin. The front with grease only just gives you the tightest possible steering radius you can have with your steering setup as there is no limit on the amount of spin on the wheels

I think you will find that the truck will push a lot more. I tryed 10k F/R and I didnt like it. I then went to 5k rear 10k front. Now the truck will pull around when I am on the gas with the wheels turned. Although this is the way I like my truck to handle, most people do run thicker oil up front.

After doing a lot of research on the web I went with 3k front 5k rear. I am still doing break-in but I am hoping this setup works good.
