What kind of jeep do you have @xjtorc

It’s a 2020 Renegade Trailhawk. Gets so much hate for not being a “real Jeep” but it’s pretty much the perfect vehicle for me. My office is 60 miles from home. The near 30mpg helps on the days I need to go in to the office, and the 9 inches of ground clearance, 4wd, steel skids, and rock sliders help when I want to play in the woods. All it really needs is a set of ATs and I’ll be even happier with it…I air down and push the slippery HT tires pretty hard lol.

Also, the hate mostly comes from Wrangler owners who use their vehicles for grocery runs and parking on snow piles so

No hate here. I like those little Trail Hawks, and I used to own a YJ Wrangler. To me, they sorta look like a mini International Scout.

I mean it is a "jeep brand vehicle" but not a wrangler Ever notice that in their commercials?

No hate from me bud lol 25 years ago I got the same for driving an xj cherokee. And they have proven to work really well. I still have one xj and a few other jeeps. Yeah even a couple wranglers. And even one that has heated leather on 35's but it has been on trail.....no I wouldn't beat it like my others (yet) I'm actually looking at a another Comanche pickup this weekend. Supposed to have 1 tons and a twin stick dana 300. We'll see...it sounds kinda over priced. And I don't know the quality of the build.

These just came. My wife ordered them for my cigarette lighters in a couple of the jeeps lol

I love the duratrac tire. It works very well.

Just make sure you get the right load rating or it'll ride rough.

I love the Eject-o-seat-o button. Might have to copy that lol.

That Duratrac looks like a solid tread pattern. I'm limited to pizza cutter sized rubber so my A/T options are limited. Been leaning toward KO2s but I'll have to see what sizes those Duratracs come in, as well.

I've also considered going down to a 16" wheel allowing a little bit more sidewall...we'll see!

Don't go with the ko2 they load up and loose traction. In my experience. My last tj had a set of new ones that got pulled and I put duratracs on. The ko2"s are decent till you really need them. Even a Yokohama geolander at is much better. I have a set in the shop. They also last. Good tire.

All the Taco guys I'm buds with rant and rave about the KOs but it could just be because they're pricey

I'd still get a Yokohama over them. It's the tire I got my wife for her jku. And never worried if she could get home in vermont weather.

And honestly with more road miles and light off roading I'd still pick the Yokohama over the duratrac. Even though the duratrac is my usual go to.
