hi guys any one used the Spektrum Nitro Telemetry with there MT have invested in the specky transmiter and waz thinking that the speed function sounds cool . am suspicious of a reliable reading coz my lst2 spins the wheels on any serfice . worth a look ?

I have it.
I'd say that if your not racing, spend your money on something else.
The temp sensor is helpful.
It remotes the temp to the hand device that clips onto your radio.

i think you are right , it is a bit expensive .
thanx for the advice

Think of all the goodies you can get with the money you saved..lol

Its ok. Not very accurate and the telemetry range is only about 100 ft.

Is there something cheaper that mounts on the truck that will give the engine temp and max rpms?

The telemtry junk is inaccurate. The only thing that is even semi useful is the temp sensor and thats only if you can find one that isnt off by much which my understanding is 50/50 at best.
