On a serious note ... I can only really estimate that it was mid 50's on a track ... not bashing around. Calculations say about the same but body, weight, foam diameter and engine tuning play a very big role with on-road speeds.

I don't run at the park. I only race my on-roads. bashing is for my Revo ...

As for my RC10GT, maybe in the low 30's. The HPI could really bookit, never tried to clock it. My neighbor has a Dragster that he claims will hit 80 in a second.

normaly you get someone claiming there car does some crazy speed, then we want proof of that speed...& hell brakes loose LOL

Joey was sleeping ... mouth wide open and almost drooling! The shitvic came up behind me while I was in the left lane overtaking someone. I was already doing 80 and he revved his engine, flashed his lights and tailgated me. I guess he was pissed because I blocked him in on purpose since the Pa Tpke is only a 2 lane highway.

I finally moved into the right lane to let him pass. I heard his tranny shift in order to pass me. I sped up to match his speed for a bit let him get in front of me and stayed on his ass with all 6 lights blaring in his rear view mirror ... and I blew the big airhorn I had under the hood. Just to let him know what it feels like. LOL

Ok, back to the thread ... BTW, joey was sleeping the entire time this was happening! I could've dropped a booger in his mouth and he wouldn't have noticed.

As far as reality goes, the maxx did 57mph. I didn't push it that hard seeing as it was the forth tank on the mill. I'll say this, I'm probably not going to try it again. That thing gets really unstable at that kind of speed.
