I found out on my recent Maui trip that Hawaii consumes about 10,000 cans of SPAM a day.

The local McDonald's even have slices of SPAM on some of there breakfast meals.

Hawaii makes up some outrageous percentage of their business....if they didn't buy the stuff SPAM would have probably been done a long time ago......

When I lived in Hawaii as a kid I remember my dad frying SPAM for breakfast. I always thought it was a Navy thing. Of course I guess it could have all started with the Navy.

Actually that's what they said. SPAM was introduced there during WWII and never left.

In Austin Minnesota is where Spam was created and also has a HUGE spam plant, and also a Spam museum (Its also the home of John maddeden) but ya should see it..lol.. You drive down main street and there Spam banners and stuff..lol.. Its funny. I never did eat the poop.. Gross
