Sots Dingo build

so I've finished my dingo build, at least to the point it can turn on and drive around. i thought i would share a few pictures of it and the body i painted.

its a special thing for me because its my first crawler body, and second body ever. i wanted to do something different. its a 3 color inner, 2 color outer body. so if i hit something it will scrape the paint away showing a white primer, or down to the lexan revealing a nice rust job i gave the inside. its intended to be chipped, scrached, and scraped.

its getting warmer every day, I've got skiing planned on st patties, and a moab trip the end of the month, and I've to work the sunday in the middle there so its april the soonest i can make it up that way on a sunday, monday tho i could do.

ill get the rig out running about today before work for sure. gonna be gentle for a lil bit tho.
i run my rcs at least 8 hours a week probly more.



were can i get a driver that will fit this thing?

could anyone tell me if this grill and headlights are the only option for the dingo body?

ok heres a list of whats done to it as of today, and these pictures are from before now and todays trip.

marine greased and plastidiped everything needed to waterresist it.

shortend battery tray posts.

added washer to each hex wheel, widens 4mm overall front and rear.

traxxas long shock ends with metal balls, traxxas shock rod, soft white springs front and rear. filled with 10w oil

moved esc to rear of frame, 4link all around, trimmed front brace for servo.

using pit bull rock beast 1.9 tires with 2 stage foam, axial beadlocks, axial weight rings front and rear.

stock electronics, savox sc0251mg servo(222.2oz), axial 20t motor, 15t pinion, stock spur. 5000mah racers edge 2s lipo hardcase battery. (i run these in all my rcs and get over a hour in this)

heres at a place i go before work, almost every day.

thanks mate! looks like you get the swampy spots eh? this week I'm off to moab, were the real jeeps crawl, and be sure ill have alot of pics of my scx10's down there. ahhhh i love it in moab.
