Sort Of Like The Look Of The 25

So i have been contemplating whether or not i want to go backwards and convert my savage 4.6 to a 25. Not the .25 engine but the savage 25 look.

I just absolutely love the way the savage 25 looks, that model and same color is actually the exact same model savage my neighbor had when i used to drive with him with my t maxx 2.5 about 4 years ago and i just fell in love with it.

I love the way the TVP's look, i love the body, i love the quad suspension with the bright orange springs the wheels etc. Its mostly all the cosmetic stuff but i just think it looks awesome compared to the savage 4.6.

Now dont get me wrong i love the way my savage looks right now at the moment.

How ever i just like the 25 tvp's over the X ones, i mean yeah they are cool but to me the 25 looks alot better.. How ever I'm wondering if this is possible ?? I've never owned a savage or any HPI before this one and I'm not sure if the components that screw into the x tvps are the same and ill be able to just screw in or if its just not possible.

I dont think ill change my wheels because i love these wheels and plus they are my dream wheels and took me forever to find. So basically the body i know ill get to fit but the main question is the TVP's .. is it possible ??

Yes. I have the 25 and converted it up to the X tvps for a while now back to the 25. Everything is a straight bolt up except if I remember right there is 1 or 2 bolts in the side of the transmision/carry handle that are different. Somewhere I have a thread on when I did this,I'll see if I can dig it up.

Not much difference though,just the 25 tvps are plated and the X tvps are lower COG.

If the x tvps are low CG then i might keep them. I'm not looking to roll my truck. I'm not sure if it would even make that much of a difference.

It just looks soo much better to me.

I didn't notice a lot difference driving it. I switched back because I do BIG jumps and wanted all the ground clearance I can get.

I found the thread finally. The pic is down but it says there was one bolt at the rear of the radio box/through the handle that is different.

If u ever plan on selling the x tvps or the big bores id buy em
